Truth be told, there is no scientific consensus on a definition for ‘emotions’. And even though, most of us feel entirely comfortable talking about emotions (… in general at least, not specifically about our current emotions) like everyone would have the same understanding about what emotions are. However, the Oxford Dictionaries definition of emotions is: ‘a strong feeling deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others’ and our emotions determine the collaborative relationship we have with others.

Unfortunately, the development of our emotional intelligence is highly underrated, specifically in the work environment. Often, peers are labeled a certain way and treated accordingly, may it be ‘the silent one’, ‘the professional one’, ‘the nervous one’, ‘the emotional one’ … which frequently and very sadly have been suggested to ‘hide’ or ‘mask’ their emotions in public. 


Our emotions are powerful, and they are part of who and what we are. We believe that we should learn how to embrace and facilitate our emotions, to benefit from them. In other words: We should invigorate our emotional intelligence.


We have developed this training program to help you developing and enhancing your emotional intelligence with a mix of mental and physical exercises, guided meditation and profound background knowledge.

Key Learnings

Course Structure

  • Before the course, you will receive a course material package. This package includes all non-electronics like papers, pens, information, facilitation equipment and other goodies you need to participate. 
  • The first day and a half are online seminar and training days (conducted via Zoom.us)
  • The following 2 weeks, you will receive daily tasks, which take 10 minutes or less to complete.
  • After 2 weeks, we continue with a half day online seminar and training, further exploring and strengthening your emotional intelligence
  • The following 2 weeks, again, you will receive daily tasks, which take 10 minutes or less to complete.
  • This course concludes with a half day workshop, peer review and guidance online session, deepening acquired learnings and forming a community.
  • Total time invest - 2 hours within 4 weeks.

What do you need?

It is an online course. You need a device the runs the video conferencing tool zoom.us, a webcam, a microphone, and the infrastructure to connect to the platform.

We recommend to have a second screen as well, the ideal setup would be a a computer and a tablet or smartphone.

Additionally you should have comfortable seating or setup your environment to stand up while using the devices.

Certification

Upon completion of the course you will receive the accolade:
